INFORMATION

Listed below are frequently asked questions (FAQ) pertaining to the International Association for Microanalysis (IAMA) membership, focus and its newsletter publications.

Question:

Why can’t I seem to access the current newsletter and archived newsletters from the IAMA web site www.iamaweb.com ?

Answer:

Unless a completed membership application has been received by IAMA, you will not be able to access the publication section of the web site.

Question:

Why am I not already a member of IAMA? I have been receiving the newsletter mailings.

Answer:

When IAMA was created and sent out its first publication, its mailing list was created from various resources not knowing if the intended individuals receiving newsletters would even care to read the newsletter. Since then IAMA has grown significantly and as a result so has the postage to mail out the newsletters. IAMA will no longer mail out its newsletter from its previous mailing list and will only provide its mailings and Internet access to archived newsletter for all those who submit an application for membership. http://www.iamaweb.com/membership/membership.html

How much are the dues and can anyone be a member?
